- Provide thought leadership and support to the service and technology function ExCo in developing ideas, articulating and delivering the franchise/function strategy aligned to the overall Group strategy and purpose
- Contribute to the achievement of the service and technology goals by ensuring appropriate and clear strategy, improving the customer and colleague experience and delivering stated outcomes & measures in the most efficient and cost effective way
- Provide strategic analysis, customer insights and market context to support the development of the service and technology strategy and ensure best in class approaches and lessons learned are built into the strategy
- Provide execution of defined strategy related projects, ensuring collaboration across the function and alignment with broader organisational strategic intent
- Substantial experience of strategy, within a financial services environment or from strategy consulting experience with technology background
- Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to deliver well-substantiated analysis, solutions and recommendations to senior stakeholders in response to a wide range of strategic issues and opportunities
- Strong analytic skills and ability to use data to derive customer and competitors insights, supporting decision making and strategy formulation
