We are seeking a talented Prime Brokerage Liquidity Stress Modelling Specialist to join our client’s Finance division in London.

About the Role

As a key member of the Liquidity Stress Modelling team, you will play a pivotal role in developing and enhancing our liquidity stress testing frameworks for Prime Brokerage and Secured Financing products across global markets. Your insights will directly influence the firm’s liquidity risk management strategies, funding plans, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and refinement of liquidity stress testing models for Prime Brokerage and Secured Financing products across multiple regions.
  • Monitor model performance and conduct periodic reviews of stress assumptions.
  • Analyze liquidity risk data to generate actionable insights and support decision-making.
  • Model the liquidity impact of new products and perform sensitivity analyses.
  • Collaborate closely with Global Treasury, Regional Liquidity Management, and Funds Transfer Pricing teams.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and assess the impact of policy changes on stress models.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in liquidity modelling within Prime Brokerage or Secured Financing domains.
  • Strong understanding of investment banking products and their impact on liquidity reporting.
  • Knowledge of liquidity best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Analytical mindset with excellent numerical skills.
  • Proficiency in IT tools and programming languages such as Python, Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI, and advanced Excel.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Results-oriented with the ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
