- Lead and manage the Technology Architecture for the organisation ensuring the vision and architecture roadmaps required to deliver propositions for customers
- Drive the architecture in collaboration with business and technology leaders ensuring all businesses areas and technology domains have architecture roadmaps that are robust, coherent, understood and well implemented
- Lead the thinking and creation of the architectural roadmaps that underpin the organisations ability to deliver simple, compelling customer journeys and experiences
- Own the operating model and practice for the discipline of architecture in the organisation setting standards for excellence both in the creation of the architecture and in building the capability of our architect population
- Ensure that the architecture direction improves quality, accelerates delivery of value to customers, drives innovation, while keeping services and applications safe and secure
- Deliver against the financial plan and budget, including resource allocation and prioritisation
- Comply with all organisational policies and deliver against regulatory and legal obligations
- Make sure that all technology and conduct related risks are managed within agreed frameworks and risk appetites
- Lead the continual evolution of the operating model for architecture in organisation and to integrate with and complement agile ways of working
