Our asset management client is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Head of Regional Sales to lead and grow UK regional distribution capabilities, driving both revenue growth and market presence. This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for shaping and executing the regional sales strategy, strengthening relationships with key intermediaries, and positioning investment solutions as the first choice for clients across retail, advisory, and wealth management channels.
The role requires a deep understanding of the UK investment distribution landscape and strong leadership skills to build and inspire a high-performing regional sales team.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Strategy

Develop and execute a comprehensive regional sales strategy aligned with UK distribution objectives.

Lead, mentor, and manage regional sales managers and relationship directors, creating a culture of collaboration and high performance.

Identify and capture growth opportunities across retail, advisory, consolidator, and private banking channels.

Provide insights and market intelligence to support product development and strategic planning.
Client Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong senior-level relationships with advisers, IFAs, wealth managers, and consolidators.

Promote adoption of investment solutions through high-value engagement, education, and thought leadership.

Ensure client satisfaction and retention through proactive support and consistent delivery of value.
Revenue & Performance Management

Set, monitor, and achieve ambitious sales targets and KPIs across regional teams.

Analyse sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity to identify risks and opportunities.

Partner with marketing, product, and research teams to develop campaigns and sales support materials.
Compliance & Governance

Ensure all activities meet regulatory requirements and internal governance standards.

Maintain rigorous documentation, reporting, and oversight in line with FCA and SMCR standards.
Candidate Profile

Minimum of 10 years’ experience in UK asset management sales or distribution, with a strong track record in retail, advisory, and/or wealth channels.

Deep knowledge of the UK wealth management ecosystem, including IFAs, consolidators, discretionary managers, and private banks.

Strong understanding of FCA regulation, Consumer Duty, and platform dynamics.

Proven leadership and team development skills, with ability to inspire and motivate.
