Karen Tierney

Following a long career in Financial Services and a period of contracting throughout maternity leave, I was at a cross-roads. I was keen to contribute to something bigger and more purposeful, and to push my career to the next level.  I found The Return Hub via an internet search and I liked what they stood for and the way they were supporting women. I met with them, registered and began working with Claire who was great at helping me work through the changes I wanted to make in my career. She introduced me to a number of firms including Alpima. I liked the idea of working for a small and dynamic company and felt that Alpima could offer me the challenge I was pursuing. We kept in touch via The Return Hub and when the role of Chief Product Officer came up they contacted me to see if I would be interested. I met the team and was offered the role and started in March.
