- Supporting management and development of EMEA Valuations Control team
- Manage team performing IPV for full spectrum of Vanilla and Exotic Credit products including review of the marking of CVA exposures
- Determine methodology for and computation of relevant valuation adjustments
- Management reporting of IPV including detailed analysis of desk marking trends
- Extensive interaction with Front Office Trading and Quants, Product Control, MVG Finance and Senior Management
- Opine on revenue recognition and reserving for new product/transaction approvals
- Training and supervising Mumbai centre to ensure appropriate and accurate testing
- Lead response to regulatory requirements/requests
- Regular internal IPV and reserves reporting and audit/SOX related reporting
- Support resolution of collateral disputes. Review, design and enhance controls
- Responsible for Fair Value Hierarchy classification for Credit products and Significant Unobservable disclosures under FAS157
- Computation of quarterly Prudent Valuation Adjustments and enhancing methodologies over time
Requires
- Strong IPV experience and product knowledge. Numerical degree and additional professional qualification (ACA/CIMA, CQF, CFA, FRAM, PRMIA)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, digital tool awareness.
