This is an opportunity that would suit someone who is skilled at assessing processes and making improvements, devising better ways to utilise financial resources.

This role is based in the Investment Bank Capital Management team, working closely with the businesses in this Investment Bank as well as various stakeholders across the firm.

This person will develop an in-depth understanding of the functioning of the various businesses within the Investment Bank (taking into account the changing financial and regulatory environment), working closely with them to manage their utilisation of financial resources.

They will analyse various regulations and how they drive resource consumption of different business lines and perform business or trade analysis to evaluate their economic performance and return on resources.

Candidates will be degree educated, ideally in mathematics, economics, science or engineering and have experience in a financial services environment and will bring a good understanding of the regulatory framework that applies to banks.
