Climate Change Analyst

Global Investment Manager, London

Do you have a knowledge of, and passion for, sustainability issues and trends, specifically environmental and climate change topics?

Our client is looking for a Sustainable Investment Analyst to deliver research on one of their core themes, climate change.

This will involve identifying structural trends, challenges and opportunities relevant to climate change, and examining their effects on sovereigns, industries and businesses.

You’ll work within the thematic Sustainable Investment Research team, collaborating with colleagues across the Sustainable Investment team as well as those on different investment desks, assets classes and regions.

In this role you will conduct rigorous evaluation of poorly understood trends and seek as far as possible to quantify their impacts using a wide range of valuation techniques, all with a view to integrating that analysis into sustainable investment processes, models and engagement.

There will be the opportunity to work closely with several investment teams focused on climate change across asset classes, helping to facilitate a process of ongoing improvement with the integration of sustainability topics.

Candidates will have previous environmental and/or investment research experience plus an understanding of basic financial theory, financial statements and modelling practice.
